    COMBINE PURCHASES
to save you money.  For example if you purchase 1 or 10 or more postcards, the total shipping cost the same, the cost of shipping only 1.  The others are shipped free.  We can no longer charge a flat fee as the USPS has raised the cost for rigid First Class Mail and it is based upon region.  You can calculate your postage at ebay's ap below.  If you purchase postcards and a large format postcard, the shipping fee will be that of the larger, heavier photo.      IMPORTANT:  PLEASE AWAIT OUR INVOICE IF YOU PURCHASE MULTIPLES TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNTED POSTAGE.
PLEASE NOTE:  The color of the scans above are close to the original.
The original is a brownish color and is slightly pale and has okay to good contrast.
DESCRIPTION:  This is an interesting antique Stereoview Photo.  It is captioned "392 - Interior Cook Shanty".  The table has been set, most likely by the young man.  This may be a breakfast setting with coffee cups.  We do not know if this is a logging, a mining or a farm cook house.  The cooks are in the background and the detail is not too sharp.  The stereoview panels are a brownish color and are a little pale and have fair to good contrast.  The corner tips of the card are bumped, and the upper left corner has a diagonal bend.  There is wear at some of the tips and edges and light soil on parts of the card.  The back is blank.  If you turn the photo panels to catch glare, you see some wear on the surface.  Some i visible on the panels as well as the vertical scratch on the right panel, at the top of the shanty.  The card is slightly curved and measures just under 3 12 by 7 inches and we estimate this to be from 1900 or so, give or take a few short years.  What an interesting view of the interior of a cook house!
Our reserve is the opening bid.
The red watermarks do NOT appear on the  actual photo.
PLEASE NOTE:  We pack with great care using heavy cardboard. If you are an international buyer, please email to inquire regarding shipping rates.
