Interesting lot of 4 different Saint Christopher dashboard badges from French engravers. All were made from 1920s/1930s.
Top left: Silver plated bronze badge by Tairac. Diameter 50mm. Condition: Good + condition, with some discoloration. Signed TAIRAC. Similar example is photographed and described in Maximiliano Garay 's book " Saint Christophe - dashboard badges of the golden era of motoring ", on page 144.
Top right: Silver plated bronze badge by Firmin Pierre Lasserre (1870-1943). Diameter 40mm. Very good condition with minor discoloration. Signed F.P.Lasserre and MADE IN FRANCE on back. Similar example is photographed and described in Maximiliano Garay 's book " Saint Christophe - dashboard badges of the golden era of motoring ", on page 105.
Bottom left: Silver plated bronze badge by Louis Tricard (1866-1918). Diameter 45mm. Good + condition with some scratches and discoloration. Signed L.Tricard and P.L.Dasset (the editor) on back. Similar example is photographed and described in Maximiliano Garay 's book " Saint Christophe - dashboard badges of the golden era of motoring ", on page 147.
Bottom right: Silver plated bronze badge with enamel over guilloche by Georges Berger (1908-1976). Diameter 40mm. Poor condition with some discoloration and damaged enamel. Signed G.Berger. Similar example is photographed and described in Maximiliano Garay 's book " Saint Christophe - dashboard badges of the golden era of motoring ", on page 49.
