This amazing 1887 stereoscope card shows the train depot/ station in Simplicity, Alabama . On the steps sit several black children as well as an African American man standing above them. The boys and girls all have sad looks on their faces? Standing on each side of them are “ white” men This incredible stereo view card was photographed and published by the Kilburn Brothers, Littleton, New Hampshire. Does have some flaws that’s why listed so cheap: several of the corners are dinged , rubbed off ? Dirt marks throughout the photographs The back has printed Kilburn Brothers N.H.. and has several dirt marks sl staining etc. What an amazing early image of bygone days.
